This Privacy Policy will inform you about the compiling, processing, and use of the personal data collected by ACKCENT CYBERSECURITY, S.L. at its website www.ackcent.com (hereinafter, website or ACKCENT).

What are the purpose and legal basis for processing your data?

ACKCENT will process the personal data you provide us with, as well as any other that may be collected at www.ackcent.com or as a consequence of your relationship with us, for the following purposes:

1. Contacts: your data will be processed for the purpose of managing the consults you may sent to us through the email address provided by ACKCENT: “[email protected]”; moreover, we may also reach out to the user by phone or electronic messaging, including SMS.

The legitimate basis for this processing is the express consent given when sending your request to the enabled email address. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

2. Job applications: your data will also be processed for the purpose of managing ongoing or future recruitment processes opened by ACKCENT.

The legitimate basis for this processing is the express consent measures in response to your request, as soon as they are required for processing your personal data in relation to the job profiles sought by the company.

In the event that you do not provide us with your Curriculum Vitae, your personal data may not be processed for this purpose and you will not be able to apply for the recruitment processes opened by ACKCENT.

3. Newsletter: in case you give us your consent, we will process your data for the purpose of keeping you posted of our latest news. We may also process your data to send you our newsletter in case we have had a previous contractual relation.

The legitimate basis for this processing is either your consent or our previous contractual relationship.

What type of personal data are processed?

ACKCENT will process the following personal data:

  • Identification data, such as your name, surname, email address, telephone number, job position, and company, among others.
  • Professional data, in case you are applying to work with us, such as all your identification data and professional experience, degree, experience, salary expectations, among others.

How long do we retain your personal data?

ACKCENT will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, or until you withdraw your consent for a specific processing. In the event that your personal data is used for various purposes that require the enforcement of different retention periods, we will apply the longest.

We will also retain your personal data until you ask for the erasure or it is no longer necessary for the purpose that was collected, as well as during the necessary period to comply with any legal requirements corresponding to each case.

What other recipients will the data be disclosed to?

ACKCENT will not disclose your personal data to third parties unless such disclosure is laid down by law or necessary to fulfill any legal or contractual obligation of ACKCENT.

Nevertheless, we require the support of service providers in order to process your personal data. These third parties may have access to your data and will act in the name and on behalf of ACKCENT. They will follow our instructions and should in no case use your information for their own purposes.

In this respect, please be informed that ACKCENT hires its virtual infrastructure under a “cloud computing” model from several providers such as Salesforce.com or Hubspot.com. Those entities provide us their services from infrastructures based in European Union countries, which doesn’t constitute international transfers of personal data. Nevertheless, in the event that your personal data happens to be stored in infrastructures outside of the European Union, they would be hosted in the United States of America, always with the sole purpose of providing the service and such transfer will always comply with our data protection laws, and if necessary, will have the previous authorization of a data protection authority o will comply with the standard contractual clauses.

What are your rights as the owner of the data?

Access You can get information if ACKCENT processes your personal data, as well as consult your personal data included in the ACKCENT files. You must attach a copy of your ID or other documents that proves your identity and outline the right you want to exercise.
